how to delete shortcut arrow

Before you’re doing the following step to delete shortcut arrow, make sure your user have administrator right since you’ll need it to edit the registry.
- Start > Run > type regedit and press enter
- Go to / Expand the branch on HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile
- Edit the value on the right pane from IsShortcut to IsShortcutxxx (or whatever you like)
- Close the registry window
You’re basically done, if after refreshing your desktop the arrow still appears, try to restart your computer.
