how to join a computer to windows server domain

Here’s what you need to do to join computers to windows server family (Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008).

Go to System Properties by doing one of the following :
- Right click My Computer > Properties
- On your keyboard, press Windows logo button together with Pause button
Click on Computer Name Tab
Click on Change Button
If you like, you can change your computer name here, if you don’t, continue to next step
Click on Domain radio button, type in your domain name and click OK
When ask for username and password, enter user that has right to join computer to domain (Administrator should have this right by default) and press OK
Wait a few second until you got the message “Welcome to bla bla bla”
Restart your computer
